The blocks cutter has been manufactured by comec for about thirty years, and all functions and mechanical performance have been tested by primary industries in the sector for decades. The machine consists of a conveyor diverter that transfers the portion of slug with preset dimensions to the cutter conveyor bench. The cutter consists in a series of tapes that transfer the portion of the slug under the cutting harp that descends vertically with its wires at an angle to perform a neat and accurate cut. After cutting, a wire cleaner system performs a cleaning cycle. The wire can be tensioned manually or pneumatically, wire breaks are controlled electrically. The machine can reach up to 12.5 hits a minute. A simple, accurate and rapid harp change system allows for the cutting of different types of material. Comec is able to supply the entire brick cutting line up to the plane loading unit for all types of material.
